Throughput Analyzer Implementation (TR-TPA-IMP)
This is a 3 day instructor-led course designed to provide an opportunity for the student to work through the Throughput Implementation Methodology.
The Throughput Analyzer application has brought all the Activplant core components together into a very specific solution. The installation of this solution requires many crucial steps that must be taken in a very specific order. Activplant has developed a Throughput Analyzer methodology to help produce repeatable success and this methodology serves as a key element in the overall content. A successful implementation will require some knowledge of all the Activplant products and this course covers those key aspects relating to Throughput Analyzer in:
- Activplant AppCenter (MI Admin)
- Activplant VPWeb
- Activplant Real Time Logic Engine (RTLE)
- Activplant Insight for Excel
- Activplant Root Cause Assignment (RCA)

Course Objective
With emphasis on the Throughput Implementation Methodology, the goal of this course is to
provide an opportunity for the student to work through the implementation methodology. New
discovery documents and installation procedures and methods that are learned in this course
will help ensure a more rapid deployment of the Throughput Analyzer application. Using
hands-on labs the student will create a valid Throughput Analyzer configuration on their own.
The course concludes with an in-class exam where the student is given an opportunity to
demonstrate their knowledge of the implementation methodology by creating a Throughput
Analyzer configuration on their own.
Successful completion of the in-class exam is required in order to qualify for our certification program.

Upon completion of the course the student should have an understanding of the following:
- Implementation methodology process and procedures
- Key elements required from the customer’s equipment
- Discovery and workbook process and method for deployment
- Adjusting template asset configuration
- Creating group structure(s) in MIAdmin
- Deploying assets using Configuration Templates

Prerequisites
Concepts covered during the implementation course assume an advanced knowledge of Activplant’s
core functionality and good understanding of Activplant administration and configuration.
Therefore, previous attendance to one of the following courses is required before attending
the implementation course:
