Level 2 - Activplant Advanced (TR-ADM-L2)

This is a 3 day instructor-led course designed to provide advanced level training of the ActivEssentials 5 Software Suite. This course leverages the knowledge gained from the Level 1 - Activplant Fundamentals course and continues into new and more advanced configuration concepts. This course provides the attendees with a much broader understanding of all the features and functionality of the ActivEssentials 5 Software Suite.

Who Should Attend
Anyone responsible for the implementation, administration, configuration and support of Activplant Installation and anyone needing an advanced understanding of the features and functionality of the ActivEssentials 5 Software Suite.

Course Objective
The focus of this course is to provide the student with the knowledge and understanding of more advanced features available in their configuration, which will provide a broader understanding of the ActivEssentials 5 Software Suite. Upon completion of this course, students will be able to demonstrate an advanced knowledge of Activplant administration and configuration while providing front line support for Activplant software components.

Upon completion of the course the student should have an understanding of the following:

  • Advanced features including:
    • ActivApplications - asset template configuration
    • Report Scheduling
    • HMI Controls
  • Advanced configuration including:
    • Incident Sub-Categories
    • Additional data collection options
  • Additional modules including:
    • Real Time Logic Engine (RTLE)
    • Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
    • Troubleshooting Best practices

Prerequisites
Before attending this class participants must first complete the Level 1 - Activplant Fundamentals course. Familiarity with OPC items, SQL server and Data Collections concepts would also be beneficial.
