Operations
One of the five key components of ActivEssentials®, this technology is a major enabler of the Activplant Performance Management System (APMS). The Operations component of ActivEssentials includes execution modules that allow plant operators to deploy APMS to conform to the specific requirements of their operation. The Operations component of ActivEssentials includes Root Cause Assignment that allows manual entry of data needed to identify and fix route causes.
The Root Cause Assignment module collects both structured and unstructured manual data related to the causes of machine incidents. It then edits that information, reports on it and analyzes it. This data provides the manufacturing intelligence needed to identify and fix root causes, thus reducing unscheduled downtime.
