Activplant's Package for ActivEssentials® Certified Adapter Ensures Interoperability with SAP NetWeaver
This powerful add-on adapter, newly available this year, takes Activplant Performance Management System (APMS) information and transforms it into standard SAP data for maintenance, inventory back flushing and quality purposes. The certified designation was awarded for the seamless integration of ActivEssentials® with the SAP NetWeaver Exchange Infrastructure (SAP NetWeaver XI) component of the SAP NetWeaver platform to integrate ActivEssentials® 5 with the mySAP™ ERP application.
The SAP NetWeaver platform allows the Package for ActivEssentials to connect applications and leverage standards such as XML and Web services. The designation helps assure customers that their existing Activplant solution will easily interoperate with SAP NetWeaver, reducing the risk, time to market and costs associated with integration.
SAP NetWeaver XI allows real-time data to be captured from the plant’s automation layer and sends it to the SAP solution. As a result, the Package for ActivEssentials is able to seamlessly trigger workflow orders.
