Activplant Package for ActivEssentials Earns "Certified for SAP NetWeaver®" Status
Certified integration maximizes productivity and eases efforts for Activplant customers
LONDON, ON – March 6, 2007 – Activplant, the standard in performance management solutions for the world’s leading manufacturers, today announced it has achieved “Certified for SAP NetWeaver®” status for its Package for ActivEssentials version NW04.1. The designation was awarded to Activplant for the seamless integration of its Package for ActivEssentials with the SAP NetWeaver Exchange Infrastructure (SAP NetWeaver XI) component of the SAP NetWeaver platform to integrate Activplant 5.0 with the mySAP™ ERP application.
The SAP NetWeaver platform allows the Package for ActivEssentials to connect applications and leverage standards such as XML and Web services. The designation helps assure customers that their existing Activplant solution will easily interoperate with SAP NetWeaver, reducing the risk, time to market and costs associated with integration.

SAP NetWeaver XI allows real-time data to be captured from the plant’s automation layer and sent to the SAP solution. As a result, the Package for ActivEssentials is able to seamlessly trigger workflow orders.
