Activplant Appoints New VP of Marketing
Former Microsoft executive brings over 20 years experience in consulting, sales, operations and marketing
LONDON, ON - October, 31, 2005 - Activplant, the standard in performance management solutions for the world's leading manufacturers, today announced the appointment of Kyle Solomon as Vice President of Marketing. Bringing more than 20 years of manufacturing industry experience in consulting, sales, operations and marketing, Solomon will lead Activplant's global strategic marketing direction and activities.

Solomon comes to Activplant from Microsoft Corporation, where he served as the World Wide Industry Manager servicing the global automotive and industrial equipment marketplaces. In this role, he led the team that delivered Microsoft's Peak Performance Automotive solution and go-to-market strategy, which launched globally in 2005.

Prior to Microsoft, Solomon spent seven years as Industry Director for Automotive at Oracle Corporation. As part of the leadership team, Solomon developed strategic messaging and solutions for the automotive and industrial equipment industries.
