Activplant Corporation Appoints Chuck Frosst Chief Operating Officer
LONDON, ON - December 20, 2004 - Activplant Corporation, the leading provider of enterprise manufacturing intelligence software, today announced the appointment of Chuck Frosst to the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO).

Mr. Frosst was most recently Vice President Operations and General Manager at MDS Diagnostic Services, a leading provider of diagnostic laboratory services in North America. While at MDS he had P & L responsibility for a diagnostic business unit with 2,200 employees, including end-to-end responsibility of the business unit’s Laboratory operations, sales and marketing, leading Operations Excellence and growth agendas.

Prior to joining MDS, Mr. Frost spent over 15 years with Nortel Networks; most recently as Vice President Human Resources, Global Operations for Nortel Networks, where he led a global HR team that supporting transformation of the end to end supply chain. At various times in his career at Nortel, Mr. Frosst was Director of Marketing Services for the company’s Micom Voice over IP business and Manager of Manufacturing / Operations for Nortel’s London enterprise facility. In that specific position, he managed aspects of the production process for the development of Telecom solutions, including the end-to-end operations of robotic cells focused on best in class operations practices.
