Weyerhaeuser Selects Activplant
Multinational forest product company to deploy Activplant Manufacturing Intelligence Solution at Softwood Lumber Mills Across North America
LONDON, ONTARIO - April 26, 2004 - Activplant Corporation today announced that the Weyerhaeuser Company (NYSE: WY) will be using the company’s Activplant software as its Manufacturing Intelligence standard in its Wood Products Sector. Weyerhaeuser is now installing Activplant in nine Wood Products manufacturing facilities in the U.S. and Canada. Beginning with its Softwood Lumber mills, Weyerhaeuser will use Activplant to maximize productivity by analyzing throughput and identifying causes of machine downtime in real-time.
